What is it about the rolling in the sand/grass

They all do it, big and small. Is it pure pleasure and bliss, or just an itch. It certainly looks like a lot of fun. The legs up in the air, the wiggle of the butt, back and forth, the face in a twitch of ecstasy. Not a care in the world. Does not matter to them to look silly or not, as long as the enjoy them selfs. Most of them do the roll by them self. The position is extremely vulnerable, they are exposed to anyone who would want to harm them, so maybe that is one of the reasons to do it when they feel save.
