Maybe old, but with a twist

This older girl is about 13 years of age and I have been taking care of her on and off. The owner sold the house and she is going to move. So this will probably be the last time that I am having her at my place. There is just something about her, what made me fall in love with her. Just look at that face, how can you not fall for her. She is comical, smart and just imagine a little bit more fur on her, good looking. She has a very strong constitution. Few years ago, when I had a problem with kennel cough, she was one of the few who did not get it. Most had it mild some got really sick, I used to boost up their immune system with some vitamin A,B and C, that way it did not get out of hand. Anyway, the funny thing was, that even so, she was loved by her owner, but because of money problems not always getting the best care. When I called him, where he had bought the dog food, because I was running out. He told me at the texaco station. The brand name "Dog Food". Needless to say I changed the brand. Sometimes I wonder, all those other pampered pooches, best food, grooming, all the vaccination in tact got sick. Are we as a society overdoing things? Where does one draw the line, what is bad for your pet, even so the good intentions are their? Well, I will miss her dearly.
