where have you been, what are you up to, so you come here often, oh you smell good, who is your groomer? I have never sniffed you before.
It is so easy for dogs to find out in an instant, what they like and whom they like. They take
one good sniff and know immediately, if they like each other or not. The occasional growl, if
they do not want to be bothered. Some get barked at, because they either want the other dog to play with them or pure harassment. Later on they are in cahoots and run into the preserve together. Most of them do get along and play well or just ignore each other.
My friend told me the other day about this dog I was taken care off, with a name from a city, far and far away.
After a nice long walk, I started loading up the dogs into my car. For some reason he
did not know where I was and run around looking for me. So I called him, he came over, looked still a little confused, sniffed my behind, a big smile and he knew it was me. I guess I am one of them. She said it was so funny to watch and I smile just reliving that day.
But don't worry, I promise I won't sniff your behind when we meet!
Woof, woof
Sabine
